Accessibility statement

This accessibility statement applies to unum.foundation.

Unum aims to make this website usable by as many people as possible, including disabled people. Accessibility has been part of the project from the beginning and will continue to inform its development.

Our accessibility aim

The website is being designed towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

We want people to be able to:

  • navigate the website using a keyboard;
  • zoom to at least 200% without losing content or functionality; and
  • use the website with common assistive technologies.

Testing

Accessibility checks during development have included semantic structure, keyboard access, focus visibility, colour contrast, responsive reflow and zoom behaviour, alongside code-level review.

Manual testing with assistive technologies is still planned. Because this testing has not yet been completed, we are not claiming that the website fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Known limitations

We are not currently aware of any accessibility barriers on this website. Further testing may identify issues that have not yet been found.

This section will be updated when new issues are discovered or existing issues are resolved.
